Scriptural Insight

The ark rested on one of the mountains of known as Ararat, this same general region is where human creation was known to have begun. Consistent with what would be expected in a repopulation of the earth, this new start of civilization would no doubt take place near the location of the ark. This land area now called Turkey was formerly known as Anatolia it has ¾ of its land area surrounded by water. We have to the north...the Black sea, to the west...the Aegean Sea, and to the south...the Mediterranean Sea, which make this area a peninsula. It makes perfect sense that those saved by the ark would have to travel over the remaining dry land.

The Ark’s exact location is somewhat ambiguous in terms of the final resting place among the mountains of Ararat. For there are smaller mountains to the south; these mountains were also known by the name of "Ararat" and other names over the many years. A king by the name of Sennachirib carved his portrait into the side of one of the lesser known smaller mountains. In past generations it could very well be the people may have had more insight into what mountain Noah’s ark finally rested upon.

As a practical consideration, the smaller Mt Cudi would have been easier to descend, which is of significance to the well being of all who survived the flood. This situation of pinpointing the exact location of mountains spoke of in Holy Scripture is not new. The location of another well-known mountain called Mt Sinai has a traditional location, but the exact location is different than commonly believed. The mountain Jabel Al Lawz has greater evidence of being the Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments. The evidence includes the top of this mountain being burned, we also find in the vicinity the rock which provided water, and the altar where faithless Hebrews set-up the golden calf.

Whether the arks exact resting point was the larger Mt Ararat or among the smaller mountains is only secondary. However focusing on what the last surviving family of the deluge would logically seek out for their ultimate survival is worth mentioning. It's true a suitable fertile area for the raising of crops and live stock would be needed for the rebuilding of human civilization. This fertile area is in the general vicinity of both mountains, however closer to the Mt Cudi location. The discovery of huge anchors were found near the Mt Cudi location. When one considers the general location for the repopulation of the earth, one also finds residual evidence of the ark. This same area that some call the "cradle of civilization" is where we also find many of the earliest artifacts.

This land called Mesopotamia which means between two rivers is where the alphabet and numbers were known to have originated, the Garden of Eden was also in this region. This helps to illustrate a new start for civilization after the flood. Just as our modern highways serves our need for transportation in this day, in ancient time’s rivers served this purpose. We find the rivers Tigris and Euphrates which provide a direct route to a land called Ur. It is believed in this general area the restart of modern civilization took place.

The land of Ur was to the south of Mesopotamia, the people there were known as Sumerians, and were successful in Irrigation and agriculture. (Notice the shaven heads of the men at the "beginning" of civilization, we also find this same shaven style among men of the United States in what can be considered the "end" of this era). Over time small settlements grew into villages, eventually "city-states" were developed. As cities grew, roads were built, and trade increased along with the need for a military

In the north Mesopotamia was being governed by an absolute "Monarchy", and this made for conflicts between the north and south. We find this new emerging northern city of Babylon, and it is becoming very clear at this point that the wickedness and corruption of mankind had survived the great flood. In Babylon they built a tower known as the tower of Babel. This tower they wanted to reach into heaven, however not for glorification of God, but of man. The all seeing and all knowing God, which created heaven and earth, knew what this tower represented in the heart of man. At this particular time in the beginning of humanity people spoke in a uniform language, so the confusion of the languages was implement by God to stem the tide of wickedness among the races. Many languages exist to this very day among the peoples of the world.

We find the groundwork being laid for mankind's participation in the war of Good and Evil. The adversary of God was working through the people of Babylon to carry out "Satan's" plan in the earth, on the other hand, one was found whom God could work with, who was worthy of carrying out "Gods plans" for the earth.

A man called Abram who possessed the type of inner virtues of Noah was called upon, and Abram gathered all his belonging for travel to the land which was promised."Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram [was] seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. (Genesis 12:1-4)".

The plans of almighty God (who is immortal) would extend pass the days of Abram, and the plan entailed building a great nation. This nation was to be the example for others nations to conform into a ethical standard, thereby gaining Health, peace, prosperity and lasting wealth through obedience to Almighty God. Now Abram was well up in years, and he had no children, yet God promised that he would make of Abrams seed/descendants a great nation. He "believed God" despite being advanced in years, this inward quality of Abram was of great value. It was written: he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness (Genesis 15:6).

One evening the Lord talked with Abram, and it is written: "He brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be (Genesis 15:5)". Now these Scriptures describe Abram looking up into the night’s sky viewing the stars, and it is unclear whether he knew the Lord was not only speaking "figuratively" but also "literally". The Holy Scripture revealed his offspring would be a great multitude, but what's more astonishing is that they would "literally" resemble the stars of the night sky.

Abram continued to proof his faith, and as time went on his name was changed to Abraham. He was 75 when the Lord requested that he move his family and his belongings to another land. He kept following and believing in the Lord despite the fact he and his wife Sarah had no children to begin this new nation. It was 25 years later when the Lord enabled Sarah to conceive, and at the age of 100 Abraham’s wife gave birth to Isaac their son; heir to the covenant blessings.

Other trials awaited Abraham in his walk with God. It was 7 years after the Lord delivered on his promise of a legitimate son, that the Lord requested "Isaac" his son be a human sacrifice. This request was troubling to Abraham who no doubt loved the son he waited so long for, however Abraham showed the virtue of obedience to the Lord. Proving his willingness to comply with the Lord, Abraham showed faith and obedience, thereby receiving total confirmation of the prized covenant blessing to himself and his descendants through Isaac.

Time went on the many years had passed when Isaac and his wife Rebecca now sought to bring a son into the world. As it turned out Isaac’s wife also had difficulty conceiving just as Sarah. So they prayer to the Lord, and the prayers were answered, and it is written Isaac was 60 when the Lord blessed his wife with conception. We now find a twist in the story, for Rebecca was pregnant with twins; and the two fraternal twins fought inside her womb.

As it’s written: "the children struggled together within her; and she said, If [it be] so, why [am] I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD. The LORD said unto her, Two nations [are] in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and [the one] people shall be stronger than [the other] people; and the elder shall serve the younger. When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, [there were] twins in her womb. The first came out red, all over like a hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. After that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac [was] threescore years old when she (Rebecca) bare them. (Genesis 25:22-26)".

Esau and Jacob continue to fight after their birth. All through history to this very day the struggle between Esau and Jacob has continued. In understanding the stories found in any book, the main characters must be understood. Only one of the two sons would receive the blessing pasted down from Abraham, the other would become envious, vengeful, and hostile not only against his brother but also against God.

As time passed, the two sons of Isaac became two nations and the rivalry has been intense and constant throughout the centuries. The story of these two nations is played out in actual historic events and current events; prophecy tells what will happen at the end of their story. The prophet Obadiah provides the insight into the nation that would prevail. Throughout history, we find the Edomites being an unrelenting enemy, even their self-serving gestures of goodwill having ulterior motives destructive to the Israelites who attained the covenant blessing; this also applies to the entire world.

For we will find the nation which did not receive the covenant blessing never accepted not being heir to the blessings which was passed down through Isaac. A complete appreciation of how the story unfolds lays in actively recognizing all the deceit, subterfuge, treachery, and murder utilized by the Edomites/Esau. The attempted suppression of Jacob's acquisition of the covenant promises, which will included the Edomites temporary preemption of world conquest through (NWO). The recognition of how the nation known as Edomites moved to make their own covenant with the adversary of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is most revealing as they operate with Satan Usury, the media, and the framework of communism documents their exploits.

Some may say what good are all the promises made to Abraham when he died and never got to see all the Lord was speaking of? The burial location called the tomb of the patriarchs is well known in Hebron. Buried there are Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who never saw all the Lord had spoken of. However it is this mystery, which helps one understand the underlining principle taught within Holy Scripture for all the covenant promises would be in vain without the resurrection of the patriarchs. The mystery of resurrection concerning all human beings helps underscore the fact that immortality was always the intent, which the Lord had for man, death was a temporary procedure used as punishment for disobedience.

Before Abraham's death, it is unclear whether Abraham knew the details of how the dream he had concerning the 400 years of affliction would be carried out. We can however determine what events in history would document the fulfillment of the prophetic dream spoke of when it was written: " when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;(Genesis 15:12-13)".

Just as the Lord spoke to Abraham in dreams, the youngest of Jacobs’s sons Joseph had also received prophetic dreams. Great envy and hatred came from Joseph's 11 brothers because of his dreams. He was despised because Jacob/Israel seemed to favor Joseph more than his other sons. The envy and hatred was so great that his brothers sought to slay him. Joseph would still carry out his mission in the framework of God’s plans despite his brothers desire to murder him. Reuben the oldest son prevented the murder, and they decided on selling Joseph into slavery.

How the brothers of Joseph could lie to their father Jacob for so long, and show him the bloody coat of their brother, then sit down at the same table to eat meals and drink wine with their father is an indication of what the nation of the Israelites would later become. For here we find great envy, and none of the inner virtues which Abraham and Noah displayed by the manner in which Joseph the youngest of the twelve sons of Israel was mistreated.

For in the coming years the Lord's plan was to bring a famine to the region, and it would be Joseph who would save all of Egypt from this famine by revealing to pharaoh the prophetic meaning of his dream. Joseph instructed the Egyptians on how to save grain in the years of plenty to sustain the whole nation in the years of drought. The information was of great service to Egypt, and the status and recognition of Joseph's work was renowned all throughout Egypt. This status, which Joseph had attained, allowed him to invite his Father Jacob and all his brothers with their families to reside in Egypt.

All of this was part of the Lord's prophetic plans for the Israelites, who greatly multiplied and grew while in Egypt. However after thirty years the status and recognition of Joseph faded. Now history reveals the prophetic dream of Abraham when it was written: “a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him. And he (the Lord) said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;”

The time of affliction had begun just as the written prophecy had foretold, and the events would happen in actual real time events. Similar to when a screenwriter or a movie producer creates and reads down theatrical events the Bible also reveals the future. The Holy "SCRIP"ture is among other things the written plans for world events, and the understanding of prophecy is a forewarning of actual real life world events.

The location for the fulfillment of various prophecies becomes the theater or stage where the implementation prophecy occurs in the world arena. Egypt would become the location where a great corner stone in the heritage of the Israelites would be enacted. Just as Joseph had gained great prominence under Pharaoh, and brought the Hebrews into Egypt. Later on, a man named Moses would be raised in the house of Pharaoh, and led the masses of people out of Egypt from under the yoke of Pharaoh.

The same God who had talked to Abraham centuries before had in no way abandon his plans to make a great nation of Abraham's descendants. For Moses was called to the Holy mountain and received detailed instructions and procedures the people were to follow in the building of first an Israelite nation with the purpose of leading all the peoples and nations of the world to the God of Israel.

Abraham would not live to see the 10 miracles culminating in the death of all the Egyptian first born. One could only imagine the type of astonishment of Abraham if he witnessed the miraculous power, which brought forth the plagues of Egypt. For Abraham proved himself faithful without being shown any great miracles.

The miracles which took place in Egypt during the Passover were these:

The first plague was turning the waters of the Nile River close to Egypt into blood for 7 days.

The second plague was frogs appeared in great abundance all over Egypt.

The third plague was lice on the Egyptians and their beast.

The fourth plague was thick swarms of flies, which descended upon the Egyptians only, and not the Hebrews in Goshen.

The fifth plague was a murrain or better known as pestilence/infectious diseases, which killed off much of the Egyptians cattle and live stock.

The sixth plague was infectious skin ulcers called boils with blains that appeared on the bodies of the Egyptians.

The seventh plague was a great hailstorm, which destroyed much of the Egyptian crops, again the Hebrews were unaffected.

The eighth plague was the abundance of locust, which continued to destroy the Egyptian agricultural economy destroying what little crops that remained after the hailstorm, and also destroying the new crops.

The ninth plague was thick darkness for three days throughout the land of Egypt.

The tenth and final plague before the Hebrews deliverance was the death of the Egyptians firstborn, both man and beast. This display of power from the Lord brought the Hebrews out of Egypt with great substance, just as the prophetic dream had revealed to Joseph.

The struggle to deliver the Hebrews from bondage could in a sense be viewed as a showdown in the war of good and evil. For Babylon had become the bedrock and foundation for occult practices, and this knowledge of the evil arts spread to Egypt as well as other nations. Some insight is gained through recognizing the power of miracles over magic. Miracles are from God, all occult practices are from the adversary better known as the devil.

Moses worked through God and the magicians worked for pharaoh. It was the first two miracles of blood within the water, and the great abundance of frogs that the magicians also claimed to perform these miracles. The truth of matter indicates Moses produced the frogs and blood in the river. The magicians only produced illusions. After all it was the Wizards, magicians, soothsayers and sorcerer's who worked for Pharaoh.

It seems these so-called wise men of Egypt would have endeavored to undo the miraculous power displayed by Moses. The simple facts are the Egyptians had no power to undo what Moses had done, so they deceived everyone into thinking they had the same power as Moses. However when the dust brought forth lice the wise men confessed, or implied that they had no power only trickery, for the deception became obvious with the third plague for why would they bring forth lice upon themselves?

“The magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast. Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. Exodus 8:18-19”.

The Passover and the feast of unleavened bread would be a yearly event in remembrance of how the lord led Israel out of Egypt. The symbolism of the Passover lamb and the blood of the lamb would hold deep significance in the tradition of the Israelites. For it was the blood of the lamb that saved the Hebrews from the angel of death during the Passover.

The groundwork was being laid for future events. For blood would be used in rituals to help save the Israelites, also the confirmation of covenants were made with blood. Most significantly is the understanding of how after the last supper the son of God himself (known as the Lamb of God) shed his blood to save human beings from the second death. Understanding the relationship and symbolism of these events elevates ones insight concerning Holy Scripture.

While in the wilderness instructions as to how one builds a temple of worship was taught to Moses. The skins of animals would be used and at this point in time the Holy temple would be transportable. A cloud was stationed above the children of Israel after they left Egypt to shield them from the sun. When the cloud moved they followed, so they were guided through the wilderness by the hand of God. They were also fed with manna from heaven, and water from the rock.

Noah, Abraham, and Moses they all communicated with the Lord, they all worked in their time to implement the plans of the Lord. It's unfortunate the children of Israel did not show the type of faith, or obedience of their forefathers. It became clear early on far too many of the Hebrews proved themselves devoid of the inner virtues needed to carry out the Lords plans. This budding nation was said to be the salt of the earth, but the people's ability to uphold their part of the agreement with God was woefully lacking.

Very much unlike Abraham his decedents displayed the total lack of patience in the wilderness, for they witnesses all the miraculous plagues turned loose upon the Egyptians, yet they could not stay obedient for the 40 days Moses it took to received instructs from the Lord on Mountain called Sinai. Just as with any book one understands the theme and the plot of the book by getting to know the main characters, in this sense the Holy Scripture are the same as any other book. The interaction between the Lord and the children of Israel reveals the goodness, which is attained from obedience, and the stern punishments with rebukes that come as a result of disobedience. The children of Israel were brought into the wilderness to enter into a covenant with the Lord, and this drama is played out in terms of how the Lord responds to the violation of his instructions given to the Hebrews through Moses.

“For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount. And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. (Exodus 19:2-6)”.

After Moses met with God Moses arranged for the masses of people to also meet the Lord and for confirmation of the covenant agreements with the Hebrews.

“Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, all the words which the LORD hath said will we do. Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. He sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD. And Moses took half of the blood, and put [it] in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. He took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words. (Exodus 24:4-8)”.

This agreement or covenant that the Hebrews entered into at that time was a binding agreement, which extended to all the children of the Hebrews up until this very day and beyond. For these people also known as the Israelite were anointed to carry out God’s plans for the earth. The only true superpower to exist on the face of the earth was the Israelite nation (as long as they obeyed and followed their God). For the God of Israel fought their battles with them as long as they remained true to the covenant.

After the Hebrews 40 years in the wilderness many peoples and nations were removed and displaced to make room for the Israelites, most notably the Canaanite's. Armies of hornets were used to drive out the inhabitants of the lands, the protective walls surrounding nations were brought down, the very sun in the sky moved backward to allow Israel enough time to annihilate the wicked enemies.

While in the wilderness they were warned to the point of redundancy not to emulate the Canaanite's or take on any of their ways, and in the Pentateuch the consequences of violating the statues put forth in the covenant were written for all to see. For the Lord most high made an investment in the children of Israel, and they were to be an example to all the nations of the earth.

However after the Israelites arrived in the Promised land something terrible happened. They rejected the God of their fathers and forefathers who brought them out of Egyptian bondage into the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In the Promised land they deserted the God who had raised and nurtured this nation, and choose to emulate the Canaanite's. For Israel wanted a flesh and blood human king, not Almighty God the King of heaven and earth reigning over them.

“Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, and said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. 1 Samuel 8:4-8”.

At that point it was downhill for the children of Israel, for it was upholding the covenant through their obedience to God that made them a superpower. The Ark of the Covenant, which was symbolic of their alliance with God, would actually be stolen by enemies. Stunning defeats on the battlefield became increasingly devastating once Israel separated from the Lord who is their base of power.

The young Israelite nation had moved away from being a true theocracy. It was not long after this that the nation became divided into the northern and southern kingdoms. All the prophetic consequences that Moses warned of, which were written in the Pentateuch would actually occur. The increase in corruption, and wickedness only made things worst just as in Noah's day. The people rebelled against the standard of conduct bestowed upon them by their God this would not be overlooked.

The first and second books of chronicles and the second book of kings outline how the evil kings who reigned over Israel got progressively worst over time. In chronicles the chapters start out by revealing the amount time each king reigned over Israel, and if they had done good or evil in the sight of the Lord. The legacy of each king was recorded based on their works, and in far too many cases a particular kings did more evil than their fathers, who preceded them.

For the most part the Hebrew nation was in a self destructive mode, however there were always those who were faithful. King David was one like unto Noah, Abraham and Moses. David was in a category with all the ancestors who were strong and obedient having a true love for God, following his instructions. It was always the faithful who were critical to the preservation of the Israelite nation; otherwise a complete destruction of this people bound to the Holy covenant might have become a reality.

For after king David's reign (the first true flesh and blood king of Israel) the nation became divided, 10 tribes to the north were called Israel, and the two tribes to the south were known as Judah. We find the wickedness and corruption the Lord attempted to eradicate with the great flood of Noah's day was back in full force. The laws were twisted to suit man, and idolatry had become common place. Remember; the Lord had removed the wicked nations who practiced idolatry before Israel’s conquest of the land. Now the question becomes would the Lord allow his people to perform the same wicked acts of those who were banished from the land before Israel’s arrival?

The answer is absolutely not! The Lord sent his prophets (who were ignored) to warn the people of the wrath to come if they persisted in their evil ways. It was in times of intense trouble, usually when it was far too late, that the people would summons a prophet to get some word from the Lord. On the other hand when things seemed normal, and business was going on as usual the prophets were basically ridiculed and despised. There were only two types of Prophets; the true prophet or the false prophets. It was these false prophets who were in great abundance whom the people listened too.

One of the basic functions of the true prophet was to avert tragedy by warning the people of tumultuous future events. These events would actually occur if the prophet’s warnings from God were not heeded. However when things seem to be going well people seem to be blinded by this. Back in ancient times and to this very day those having the illusion of success somehow believe they have risen above any drastic changes for the worst. This human impediment closely aligned to arrogance undoubtedly happens and short-sightedness seems to take hold. When overtaken by this mind-set wisdom is abandoned even ridiculed.

As it's written: "That this [is] a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. (Isaiah 30:9-13)".

It seemed the nation of Israel had never gotten over the slavery of Egypt, and they needed a sadistic overlord to force them into doing the will of the Lord. We find in the book of Judges a historical record of how the Hebrews would be under oppression, and they would cry to God for deliverance. The Lord would hear their cry and raise up those who would bring justice, and deliver them from the oppression. Afterward the people would serve the Lord for a short time, however the people would always return to their former disobedient ways. The Lord never forced the people to keep their part of the covenant agreement, they were given free will, and the decisions they made carried consequences or rewards. Unfortunately the consequences of the many years of rebellion against the lord would suddenly descend upon the 10 northern tribes. The anger of the Lord was expressed by the great cruelty of the Assyrians.

For it is written: “Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years. In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes. (2Kings 17:5-6)”.

When times seemed good the people just couldn't find it in their hearts to do the right thing. Amusement and satisfaction was found in their evil works.

So it is written: "They rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them. And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only. (2Kings 17:17-18)".

The people who survived long enough soon arrived in Assyria, and their lives had become extremely unpleasant, their new sadistic overlords employed many methods of cruelty even pulling the very skins off the bodies of the Israelites. The wrath from God was administered to the people, and the 10 tribes who were removed to Assyria became known as the lost tribes of Israel. The key point to recognize is the people themselves choose their fate, blinded by vanity and arrogance they ignored wisdom. The whole nation including Judah could have been totally lost. It was the faithfulness and obedience of King David who preserved the nation of Israel through the remaining land; the land of Judah.

However Judah had not learned much from the removal of their kinsmen to the north. This covenant the people have with the Lord is real and binding, and the people never seemed to comprehend that their fate was in they own hands. Just as in this present day our fate is in our own hands. One's own personal choices to do good or evil determines our personal fate. Even in this very day the fate of the United States of America is in the hands of the people, whether the people do what’s right to preserve the nation, or forfeit this nation to evil and corruption.

As we peer back in time and examine some of the history of Judah we find the southern kingdom was also placed under siege and brought into captivity. The punishments of Judah were not as severe as the northern kingdom, and they returned to their own land, however inwardly the bulk of the people never really followed the Lord. In the war of good and evil the descendants of Abraham who were suppose to be an example of good for the world had fallen far short. On this grand chessboard of world affairs the proposed forces of good had forfeited its role as the dominant power on earth, and Babylon for a time became ruler of the world. After the flood this small monarchy of northern Mesopotamia had come a long way from the building of the tower of Babel, (many years earlier) to supplanting the Lord’s chosen people putting Babylon in control of world affairs. Of course the Lord was not pleased with the developments which took place on earth, and the arrogance of the King of Babylon was not overlooked by the Lord.

As it’s written: “The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word [was] in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. (Daniel 4:30-32)”.

It was certainly not the Lords will for Babylon to reign over the earth. His chosen people, who were given freewill rejected the Lord's instruction persistently, this is what allowed the adversary and his follower's world rule. The King of Babylon was stricken, and was reminded who has the true power and dominion.

It’s written: The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom [is] from generation to generation: And all the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. (Daniel 4: 33-37)”.

So after 7 years the King of Babylon’s senses returned to him, and he continued to reign over his country. Things had returned to normal, and time passed on, and suddenly the King experienced a very disturbing dream. Now this dream of the king was a prophetic dream which needed someone to interpret it.

As its written: And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream. (Daniel 2:1-3)”.

So all the Kings wise men were assembled before him, and they asked the King to reveal to them the dream, and they would interpret this dream. However the King had forgotten the dream yet he continued to demand that the meaning of this dream be made known to him.

Its written: "The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill (Daniel 2:5)".

Now a short time had passing and the King did not receive what he requested from the wise men, and he was getting impatient. The king wanted them to tell him what the dream was, and what it meant. The reasoning was that if the wise men could do both tell him the dream and interpret this dream, it was no chance of the wise men deceiving him. The Kings demands became more forceful!

As its written: The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean. And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. (Daniel 2:10-12)”.

In the past we have studied how Joseph saved Egypt through the interpretation of dreams, now many years later in Babylon, death would come to all those considered to be wise men. At the time the people from the land of Judah were being held captive in Babylon, and the King also intended to slay the men of wisdom from Judah.

Its written: “The decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. (Daniel 2:13)”.

This was no doubt a very serious time for those considered wise men in the land of Babylon, and Daniel searched the streets for confirmation that the King was about to kill all the wise men. The King had sent out his officials to carry out the grim decree that was ordered, and when Daniel found an official it could very well be that he asked Daniel if he was one of the wise men from Judah?

Its written: Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon: He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

One could only imagine the sense of urgency experienced by Daniel in knowing all the wise men including himself were about to be assassinated, so he rushed to the Kings palace.

"Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. (Daniel 2:14-16)”.

In haste it Daniel rush home to inform his companions of the grave danger.

As its written:"Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. (Daniel 2:17-18)".

Daniel and all his companions while in captivity were renamed by the Chaldeans, Belteshazzar was Daniel's name, and his companions were called Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego by their captors. They all prayed to God for the interpretation of the Kings dream...Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision; (just as God had spoken to the forefathers of Daniel back in former days). Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. The prayers of the Hebrews were answered and the inner virtues of appreciation and humility were expressed in Daniel's prayers of thanks.
For the Lord had spoken to Daniel in a vision/dream of the night.

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what [is] in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast [now] made known unto us the king's matter. (Daniel 2:19-23)”.

So it was Daniel through the God of Israel, and not those called the wise men of Babylon who were able to reveal and interpret the king’s dream.

"Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name [was] Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise [men], the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these ;( Daniel 2:25-28)”.

It was the true power which imitates from the heavens which allowed Daniel to provide the information needed to prevent the death of those known to possess spiritual knowledge. This is another example of how the artificial powers derived from the adversary of God are basically occult practices, smoke, mirrors, and the communication with spiritual demons who reside in the earth; but outside our own realm.

"Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. (Daniel 2: 31-35)".

Getting straight to the point in terms of the dreams interpretation the dream was of an image, which is symbolic of the ruler ship of the world, not by the children of Israel, but by the descendants of Noah's youngest son Japheth. Each segment of the image would represent a different kingdoms that would rule over the world. Just as the head is in control of the body the Golden head of the image represented Babylon. We find the Babylonian mystery system would be the model of all the nations and rulers in the time permitted to the Lord's adversary. The head of gold represented Babylon. The chest and arms of silver represents world rule by the Medes and the Persians. The waist and thighs of brass represented world rule by the Greeks. The legs of iron represented world rule by the Roman Empire. The feet of the image, and the ten toes of part iron part clay represent ten separate nations which will be aligned together, the toes are symbolic of the common market nations of Europe. From the head of the image down to the ten toes represents the amount of time the nations representing the adversaries of the Lord will reign over the earth.

The rock which smashed the image to dust represents the return of the King of kings, which is the Lords of Lords who will utterly destroy this evil world order brought about by Satan. At the very end of the devils reign on earth a 3 1/2 year time period called the great tribulation will be very terrible. The devils children who have chosen to do his will, and share his fate will show themselves to be extremely wicked. All manner of evil and trouble will take place in the tribulation period, and in the time span leading up the final 42 months called the Great Tribulation. The type of all out destruction and loss of life, in a very real sense is only comparably to all chaos and turmoil caused by the great flood of Noah's day. However in this day of higher population density, along with the larger amount of time (3 1/2 years), the inhumanity of man, (cruelty and torture) pestilence and starvation, and man's nuclear capabilities will make the tribulation period much worst then the great worldwide flood.

Written history confirms the existence of these nations as world rulers, and the ruins of these nation serves as the reminder of their past existence. One of the seven wonders of world was Babylon for its hanging gardens, the ruins still exist. World rule under the Medes started from King Darius and his descendants, and under the Persians, it was Cyrus the great and his descendants who reigned over the children of Israel and over the earth. World dominion under the Greeks happened through Alexander the Great and his four generals; we also find famous Greek ruins. The Romans were the next world rulers, iron was symbolic of strength in terms of brutally, the ruins of the coliseum is the ancient relic standing as a stark testimony of their brutal dominion. In terms of the ten toes we find in our present day, (which marks the final days of the adversaries reign on earth) the formation of an economically united Europe. The countries that are added, and withdrawn from this union, (some strong some weak) are symbolic of iron and clay, and will end up to be ten member nations. This signifies the ten toes of the image in the prophetic dream.

At the end of the gentiles reign over the earth great trouble will break forth from all over the earth. At this time the world will know who the guiding influence has always been behind the evil world events that have caused so much suffering in the world. This influence has been from Satan the devil, and right before his time to be casted into the lake of fire, not only will he take as many people as he can down with him, he will also cause great destruction. However divine intervention will take place for Satan did not create the world and will not be allowed to totally destroy the entire earth through his followers. Violence will once again cover the face of the earth, just as in the days of Noah. At the end of the adversaries reign on earth huge armies will unite together into even bigger armies, and upon the return of the Lord they will try to fight against him for control of the earth.

“And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that [are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. (Ezekiel 38:18-23)”.

In summary the ole cliche' that says; look at those you meet going up, because it's the same faces you will see on your way down. This of course refers to individuals, however can it also apply to nations; specifically this nation? The fiction found in mythology of Pandora's Box seems applicable. For the chain of event that can lead to the final war of wars may have already been initiated. The war in Iraq may have unintended consequences unforeseen by those (reprobates) who sought to reorganize this ancient nation to suit its wicked agenda of exploitation. For Iraq is just the more recent name for the country known as Babylon. Just as Iran is the present day name for Persia, both nations being past world rulers. The United States being only known as a superpower mainly for its potential for destruction, and its technology. However the U.S. has never been known as a world ruler, and is precluded from being considered a world ruler based on 1. It's dependence on natural resources. 2. Being under the yoke of economic debt from the international bankers/Federal reserve.

The status of the Iraq and Iran (former world rulers) can only be elevated by the firm rebuke of American and British economic ambitions. This could galvanize of the whole middle-eastern region, a move such as this could in fact offset any advantage the U.S. has in its destructive capability.

It's already been written: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

The Holy Scripture is speaking of Russia along with the two former world rulers and other nations of this region forming a regional alliance. The aggression from the United States and Britain who are considered to be Christian or western nations will undoubtedly play a role in helping to stimulate cooperation in forming a united front against such foreign aggression. The predictable political efforts to protect, and defend the natural resources as well as the sovereignty of the nations in this eastern region could at some point be considered a world ruling strategic alliance. On the other hand the European common market nations along with other nations will form a western block of nations. The overwhelming strength coming from the alliance of the European nations will be derived from a source foreign to logical understanding. This source of strength or power is from the spiritual realm, which is occult in nature, and directly from the adversary of God.

It is written: " I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. (Revelation 13:1-3)".

The deadly wound being healed is speaking of the resurrection of the Roman Empire. The names of animals along with the references to horns, crowns and heads is basically speaking of the same group of nations represented by the dream of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. However instead of these kingdoms ruling one after another the prominence of these nations will make a resurgence at the same time. In a sense one may say the image of the beast will be coming to life.

The dragon is the term used for Satan, who operates from a dimension outside our realm; he will be allowed to transfer power to human beings. The peoples of the earth being common mortals cannot physically see Satan or the demons, which are dwelling here on earth. They do exist and they are immortal, they work through human beings (and Governments) through spiritual power from Satan this will cause much destruction on earth.

From the revived Roman Empire two extraordinary leaders will receive great authority; one of these leaders will appear to be a religious man, the other a charismatic politician. They are also known as the beast, and the false prophet. At the time when this prophecy becomes reality the beast will be looked upon as world ruler.

For it is written: And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Understand the beast is all the nations which the image of the dream represents, however a man will be given the power from all the nations comprising the ten common market nations he carries the title of "beast". The false prophet is also part of the beast; however his distinction as one having the appearance of a religious man places upon him the title of "false Prophet". "The angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:7-9)".

This religious man who is to known as the false prophet will be arrayed in the apparel that represents pagan deities, and some of the symbols he is arrayed in (his hat) will symbolize Dagon the so-called fish god, and other paganism which is characteristic of the head of the image which is Babylon, and he will also typify an revived Roman Empire. Around this time the economies of the world will also undergo vast changes, and money or the medium of exchanges will be merged into "one" system.

It is written: " And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Relevation 13:16-17)".

At this time paper money will be replaced with something much different, for corruption and counterfeiting will reach such high levels that another method of accounting will be utilized. This accounting method will rendered each victim the property of the beast. This system will not only be able to track your every move, but will also store detailed information about each individual. Those unfortunate souls who receive the mark are those who will spend eternity in hell as the property of Satan.

Ones home, bank accounts, tax bills, medical history, and ability to purchase almost anything including food will be controlled by an extremely evil system. At this time Satan's short but nightmarish overt rule of the world (3 1/2 years) will also be implemented by rank and file reprobate individuals who carry out his work. These individuals will be from Government, Business, secret societies, occult organizations, churches, universities, and all walks of life. The wicked purpose of these people go far beyond any crime known to the world, they are the embodiment of satan and his quest to multiply souls for the second death; which is the living death.

At the top of the repugnant hierarchy the man called the beast, and the false prophet will cause many unusual things to happen. for it is written: "And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by [the means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. He had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13: 12-15)".

What is being spoken of here is an modern day image which will be symbolic of the beast, and reminiscent not only of ancient Babylon, but also of the same dream of King Nebuchadnezzar had many centuries ago. The worship of the image will be pure idolatry, which is totally contrary to what is good and Holy. This idol will speak and people will be told to worship it. It has not been revealed whether the idol will speak based on magic, sorcery or some sort of genetic engineering. What we do know is Americans are being psychologically processes toward idol worship with television programming which seems like entertainment, however a subliminal objective is factor into this programming. Shows like American Idol which encourages audience participation, and may seem mundane but in a real sense this programming is a subtle yet preparatory step toward actual Idol worship.

History has a way of repeating itself, and back in the days of Daniel the prophet we find historical evidence of how early Babylonian paganism was carried out through idolatry. We also find a pattern in the way various Hebrews (who are the children of Israel) rise up to the highest levels of government. After Daniel interpreted the dream back in the days of King Nebuchadnezzar

It is written: "Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise [men] of Babylon. Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel [sat] in the gate of the king. (Daniel 2:46-49)".

Remember was it not Joseph of Egypt who rose to great prominence through the interpretation of dreams, we find the history of Daniel very similar. In government those who ascend to the highest levels will always have people who seek to replace them and gain the positions of power and influence for themselves. This is as true today as it was in the times of Daniel. The wicked King of Babylon took the information given to him by Daniel and made an large Idol that he expected all the people of Babylon to worship. The enemies of the Hebrews found an occasion to not only remove the Hebrews from power, but also brutally murder them.

For it is written: "Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Daniel 3:1-3)".

Now the Hebrews knew this Idol was not God, but pagan idolatry and had no intentions of bowing down to worship it. It is written: Whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. (Daniel 3:6-7)".

In the war of good and evil major decisions will have to be made in terms of whether one chooses to follow after the true and living God, or paganism. The Hebrews Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego rightly preferred death rather then to forsake their God.

It is written: Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.(Daniel 3:10-13)".

The Hebrews told the King face to face that they would not worship the idol or bow down to it. So the king attempted to slay Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, but they were saved from death. The time will soon come in our day, which will be commonly known as the New World Order. In that day the followers of the devil will seek to implant RFID's or some other type of identifying mark upon ones body. Any implanted chip represents the beast and choosing death rather than the mark will be the single most important decision one can make in their lives. The Holy Scripture warns of receiving the mark to ones forehead or hand, however the consequences for receiving the beast mark is so severe that extreme caution suggests not allowing implantable chips to any part of the body. For as it's written those who are branded with the mark/verichip will have no recourse only a fate bound to the horrible realities Hell
